Management Committee

The Committee of Management plays a very important role in terms of the day-to-day operations and general direction of the Bellingen Institute. It is comprised of local residents, academics from SCU and others. As you will notice, certain committed members have specific duties and obligations that are vital to how the affairs of the BI are conducted. The Committee meets about once every month and meetings last for about an hour and a half. Committee members are elected and we review the nature and composition of the group on a regular basis. Thus far, the Committee has worked very well indeed and there is a lot of energy and commitment underpinning its activities. The Committee has also received the help and support of a number of volunteers whose help a number of events would not have been possible. To them we extend our sincere tanks.
